I have a useful suggestion for the people who have an iPhone/iPad and Linux.
As you may know, its not possible to sync music to your iPhone with iOS 6 or 7 Firmware.
Apple has encrypted the music database, and thats why program's such as Rythmbox aren't working with your iPhone.
However, there is a great workaround:
1. Go to the App Store on your iPhone/iPad.
2. Install the app 'OPlayer Lite'.
3. Open the app and choose File -> WiFi Transfer.
4. Open your web browser on your Linux computer.
5. Type the adress under 'Acces your device via HTTP'. The Adress looks like this: http://xx.x.x.xx.xxxxx, where the 'x' is a number.
6. The webpage 'OPlayer (WiFi Transfer) will open.
7. On the webpage you see the name of your Apple Device. On the website is also a button called 'upload file'. You can simply drag and drop to the grey box or you can click 'upload file'.
8. Select the music or video's your want on your iPhone. Click 'Ok'. Now your music will be uploaded to your mobile device.
9. Don't close the webpage and don't lock your iPhone while syncing, otherwise the sync will fail.
10. If you are done with syncing, you can close the webpage.
11. Choose 'file' again in the app on your mobile device. Choose Local -> My Documents and you will see all your uploaded music. The music and video's are saved on your device, so it will also work when your device is offline.
12. While listening to music, you can safely lock your iPhone and you can also safely open other apps. The app will continue to work in the background.
I hope this is usefull for the linux users. Linux rocks!
