Helping a non techie friend to try to run Ubuntu Live cd on his Powerbook G4 (4GB ram) - I am a very novice re Apple stuff.....
Using a Ubuntu 12.04 ppc cd, and after booting start, an error message is soon seen re lack of B43 wireless driver. This seems to stop the booting process. We do not actually need wifi at this stage, is there a way round this?
I also tried Lubuntu 12.04, and for good measure Ubuntu 9.04 although less useful response from 9.04 anyway)
In an attempted live session this is a bit daunting (for me...)
Any suggestions please, or is it not practical to use LIVE session ppc like this?
