I've got a PowerMAC G5 2.3 ghz dual core with the nvidia 6600. I was curious if I could take a PCIe video card from my windows machine and use it in the G5 with Ubuntu. I know I would need Mac firmware for osx but I don't care about that. Would it not be a better option than what's in it considering all the nouveau issues?
