So here's the issue.. I'm trying a lot of things. Some of those macs already have Ubuntu and Mac OS X dual booting, but I need to reinstall them, cause they're full of crap. So, they have Mac OS X 10.6. When I try to update them to Yosemite I get a grub rescue. I think it did that too when I was trying to install 14.04 from a USB flash drive. I want to start from ground 0. So I'm going to delete all the data one by one on each mac. And I want to know how to do it. They're all mid 2007. 14 machines.
How do I have to do this. I have no idea how to make it work. I burned a 10.10 disk 64-bit, when I boot it with the efi file and after choosing Try Ubuntu without installing I just get a black screen, the CD starts spinning and after 3-5 minutes it stops. Also the screen refreshes once while loading. When I try booting it in Legacy mode I get this:

And I can't click/type anything. Nothing happens after time.
I want to at least boot Ubuntu after installing so that I can have some kind of system running, after that I will update to latest version and install drivers so that everything works.
