Long story short, I just removed Windows from my PC and made the switch completely to Ubuntu. Now I want to get iTunes to work here so I can watch the latest Doctor Who episodes on my Ubuntu PC. Before anyone suggests it, my PC is a bit too under-powered to have a Windows VM (I plan on building a custom PC the moment I have the funds to do so, but at the moment I'm stuck with a weak and ancient PC).
I managed to get iTunes 11 (32-Bit) installed via PlayOnLinux, but it cannot connect to the iTunes Store. If anyone knows how to make it connect or install iTunes (64-Bit) in a way that works via Wine, PlayOnLinux, or the Terminal it would be most helpful.
Failing that, if anyone knows if the Doctor Who episodes come out on Google Play as fast as they do on iTunes (if so, I probably won't even need iTunes anymore).
