I have been using a bluetooth mouse (HPx4000b) to get around trackpad issues. I paired the mouse with Yosemite and it automatically worked with Ubuntu (nice) but when I look at System Settings >Bluetooth its greyed out but it's definitely working how I have no idea how, haha.
This is what I found:
$ hcitool dev
Devices:
$ sudo service bluetooth status
● bluetooth.service - Bluetooth service
Loaded: loaded (/lib/systemd/system/bluetooth.service; enabled; vendor preset: enabled)
Active: inactive (dead)
Not sure how Bluetooth is inactive yet works.
