I am using a mac mini running osx mavericks, I started by putting the ubuntu onto the USB, the install popped up and I started installing it. At the end it said to restart because installation is done, I did restart, but it only goes to the installation part again where it asks you to install or use ubuntu desktop without installation. If I pull out the usb the entire thing blacks out and shows a blinking folder icon, meaning the whole computer lost it`s operating system. I remember that the osx was partitioned before install. I cant seem to install. Now I have no computer at all and I need to figure out how I can get it to install it on the hard drive on the mac mini instead of the usb stick, when the install comes up and I get ready to install it I cant choose the HDD for some reason, I have never installed it before so I am completely new to it. It seems like the computer can only run with the USB Stick inside it and that the hard drive is partitioned which is an issue. I want in on the HDD and boot up properly without it asking me to install every single time. I need help with this, impossible, gotten to complicated for me.
