apple mouse + keyboard not recognized

Hello, I have an Imac os x el capitan with Ubuntu 15.10 in dualboot. When running Ubuntu I am trying to get the mouse and keyboard up and running using bluetooth, the 2 devices do not show up in the list, so I cannot add them. What's going wrong here?
