Hi there,
I'm new to Linux after struggling with each worsening version of OS X for too long. Very happy with how Ubuntu 15.10 is running on my ageing intel core 2 duo 2Ghz iMac 7.1 (from 2007). The only issue I have arises after waking the computer from suspend. The screen first flashes straight on then off instantly, then reappears however it appears "bleached" or corrupted, where there are white lines running down the screen covering 50% of the screen area. This does not happen if the screen is dimmed or turned off with the computer remaining running, only after suspend. Requires reboot to fix, nothing else I can do seems to fix it.
Someone who posted what sounds like a similar issue with no solution yet (however different version of Ubuntu): http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2301802
Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated!
Thanks,
Mitch
