I followed the directions from the thread on running ubuntu 12.04 on newer Macs.
After all that, I managed to optimize my MacBook Air much better for Ubuntu. However, the RPM is very dramatic. It goes from 2000 when idle to 3600 when I'm downloading something or watching a video. Cue the annoying fan noise...
Veteran Ubuntu Mac users or whomever, what are some procedures or scripts that can stabilize the rpm. I use the command watch sensor to see my RPM.
