I use a mac for work, but ubuntu for my personal use and would like a trackpad that works with both. In OSX it seems that the 3 finger workspace switching gestures only work with the apple magic trackpads, which is my favorite gesture, so I would need to buy one of those (or the logitech trackpad for mac), but are the magic trackpads compatible with Ubuntu?
I think I would only need basic functionality like two finger scrolling, but if 3 fingers could be detected I could use something like touchegg to switch workspaces in Ubuntu too.
