Hi!
I've installed the latest Ubuntu Gnome onto a friend's laptop (5.1) and the OS is very unresponsive and slow in general, don't think it's the hardware as i've installed on similar machines (PC) in the past and it was fine.
The Mac has no other OS installed as we found it impossible to reinstall its original one, i've read something about "blessing" the partition but that is within MacOS.
Any ideas?
