how can i get Graphics card plus to laptop | miniPCI e TO X16 PCIe riser Adapter |Via 50cm USB to work?

Macbook pro 2015 OS(ubuntu),
Geforce GTX 680,
Inter_Teck 700W PSU,
USB 3 to USB 3,
Graphics card plus to laptop | miniPCI e TO X16 PCIe riser Adapter |Via 50cm USB

I create my own eGPU to my ubuntu, inside: Software & Updates -> Additional Driver -> Shows nothing new hardware.
Is it possible?
