Hi.
Im new to this and haphazardly formatted my old Macbook Pro to run Ubuntu recently.
It worked for a bit, I got the wifi to work and installer a bunch of other drivers, next time I booted it all i got is a Black screen and a cd-drive Sound.
After an exhaustive search, Im fairly sure its the same EFI issue as describes here:
https://discussions.apple.com/thread/5051884
My question is: How do I get it to boot from the boot menu or any other way to boot from a usb drive?
I have tried all of the F-keys, esc, right and left shift, cmd, alt and a few recommended combinations.
Halp!
