Hello, and welcome to my first post on here. Please understand that I am not a technical person in Ubuntu Budgie... (actually, I have no experience with computers or systems... )
I'm using a laptop, MacBook Pro early 2011, with Ubuntu Budgie 22.04 installed (by a friend).
I have no problems connecting to Wi-fi at home. The Wi-fi symbol/logo on top of the screen connects automatically when I click it.
A friend's wi-fi connection is down. Clicking the Wi-fi symbol does not display the local network. I will find it if I search with CMD -> Network, but when I try to connect to the network, it will not.
Previously, I connected my laptop to Wi-fi at my friend's house, but I believe another network device was installed there. The router and password are still the same.
Neither before nor after replacing the network device, my Android phone (Samsung A40) connected to the friends' Wi-Fi without any problem.
Thanks a lot for your assistance!
