Initially i though my issue here was siilar to the thread on here in regard to incomplete shutdown, but i do new think it is the same at all, but i am still learning so?
I have been using Ubuntu on and off for about a year on a couple of old Mac Minis i have, and this issue is new to me, and i am regularly reloading Ubuntu onto the system to make sure i get "Clean" systems, as my trial and error approach to certain things maybe causing issues.
This problem has been since i did a clean load of 22.04 LTS about 3 weeks ago, and i have now got to a stange where i am confident to be able to ask for help on the Forum as i think i have gone as far as i can with my level of understanding.
I am trying to get a system up and running in Headless environment so this problem is a little bit of a show stopper, as i will rely on the system being operational in a remote location.
What happens is that if i "restart" the system remotely either via the SSH route or via VNC the system I assume goes through the process of restarting, but never get to a point where i can establish aSSH connection or a VNC Connection.and therefore this system is effectively out of operation until i can physically get back to its location.
Now that i am in the same location i have determined that
After the 1st Restart. the system comes up with an "Out of Memory" error that is shown in attached screen shot
After a few seconds the following screen is shown.
Nothing will happen now unless i Power off/on the system and then i get the following screen, following the prompts get the system restarted but very slowly
I hope someone can advise on how to get this resolved, as i was hoping not to go through a complete reinstall.
Had issue loading Pics into the thread i hope people can access them OK
Thanks
