I just recently installed Ubuntu 12.10 64 bit edition on my Macbook Pro.
I am only getting about 1:47 minutes of battery life fully charged. Keyboard backlit off, screen dimness all the way down. From what I've read it seems to be because there is a integrated and dedicated graphics. Ubuntu doesn't seem to recognize the integrated one and always uses the dedicated one.
So does anyone know anyway to improve the battery life? I have read some stuff about hybrid graphics but nothing that seemed to work with the Macbook 8.2
Other battery saving tips would be appreciated too. Thanks!
