Yes well as you can see by the title. I have myself in a pickle.
Ok the scenario was as follows. This is my first Macbook, I'm used to OSX already so don't worry about that side of things. I installed Windows through Bootcamp as most do, the process is very simple nowadays. I was then going to install a third OS (I hadn't and still haven't made my mind up yet) so originally I created a linux and a linux swap partition on top of the windows one and obviously the OSX default ones.
I then decided to "clean up" and resize my partitions using Parted Magic (which works surprisingly well on a mac) and did so. Everything worked without a hitch accept I now cannot boot windows, I get the error "No bootable device - insert bootdisk and press any key".
Further information:
I am running the rEfit boot manager for mac. I have also tried going about restoring the boot startup for windows through the installation disk by going through the same process in bootcamp as did to originally install windows on my mac. But when loading the windows setup instillation usb that I created in bootcamp and selecting "Repair computer" I got an error saying something like "the type of setup disk you are using isn't compatible (or doesn't support) this version or something along those lines, so I couldn't repair the boot. I assume this error happened because the setup .iso I used wasn't 64bit but I assumed it was both so I don't know. =/
Anyway I'm aware that this error could possibly be rectified by installing linux and then Grub taking over. I'm open to whatever works.
