With 13.10 running smoothly on my MB Pro with Intel video, I have no ability to use an external monitor or projector with the laptop because (I presume) the video driver does not know how to deal with the Thunderbolt socket.
I have a VGA adapter that I used to use with a pre-thunderbolt Macbook, and which physically fits in the Thunderbolt socket. When I am booted in to OSX, this adapter works fine, but under Ubuntu it does nothing.
What is the best approach for getting my projector to work while I am booted with Ubuntu? Is there a USB/VGA adapter that is known to work well? Other ideas I am missing?
