[PPC] Airport Express Emac- what now?

Hi all:

Installing lubuntu 12.04 on an emac, 1.25ghz upgraded to 1gb ram. Everything went pretty well with the install and it runs nice and fast, I'm liking lubuntu more and more over kubuntu and ubuntu.

My problem is with my air port express. I can't seem to get the darn thing to work. lspci shows the device. I have installed and reinstalled firmware over and over, all to no avail. Its a broadcom BCM4306 or something like that IIRC. I did the b43-firmware and its installer and also tried the legacy just for laughs, nothing. I fought with ndiswrapper for hours beforing figuring out it wouldn't work :o

It is not getting its own interface, I have eth0 (wired) and lo, but am not getting a wlan0 or eth1.

I'm lost here, I've scoured the internet over and over for a solution, there are lots, but none work for me. I'm hoping somebody can point me in the right direction. The only possible thing I can think of is that during installation, the card was loose (I had not yet checked for its existence).
