Hello,
I hope my question will not overlap with any existing ones. I would like to run Ubuntu on my mac from an usb drive. The point is that I want to have already Ubuntu installed on the usb and just boot it on the mac. I don't if this is the same as running the Ubuntu live version during the installation. My problem is that the mac is not working anymore, I cannot even manage to reinstall the os. So I would like to have a "portable" live Ubuntu on the usb stick like an external hd drive, in order to understand if the problem in the mac is the hd and make it from my Ubuntu, not from the mac, since I cannot access mac os anymore. Do you think it is possible? I only find guides explaining how to do this from the mac, and not from Ubuntu.
Thank you very much!
