First post. New Linux user. New terminal user. An Apple guy since I started using computers, before they were cool.
Installed Ubuntu Server 14.04.2 on an old Mac Book Pro (MacbookPro1,1 - late 2006).
I'm trying to set up WoL so that the old machine can rest when not used but come to life when requested. I have searched google with various phrases and seems I can't locate any information about setting up for an Apple. All the guides and explanations I find call for changing the BIOS. From my understanding that's not part of the Apple hardware.
Am I off base here? I wouldn't be surprised.
Regardless, any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
