Hello guys

I have read many topics but I can not find a solution to my problem.

I managed to install Ubuntu 14.04.3 on my old MacBook Pro 5,2 (2009)

Mac configuration:
CPU: 2.8 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
RAM: 8 GB DDR3 1067 MHz
Video Card:
NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT (Bus: PCIe)
NVIDIA GeForce 9400M (Bus: PCI)

ubuntu, installation procedure on mac:
- The mac, I created 3 partitions.
- Started the live ubuntu, with the parameter nomodeset
- From the live ubuntu, I formatted partitions as: efi, ext4 /, snap.
- Installed ubuntu, okay.
- Start using ubuntu nomodeset.
- Update nvidia driver from "System Preferences".

Restart the Mac, Ubuntu opens, perfect.

When I use the MacBook shuts down.

I tried all the nvidia driver present, owners and open source.

No way, goes off. 1 minute, 5 minutes, when I open Internet, when I try to do something that requires use of the GPU.

I cleaned the fan, thinking that this was the cause.

The problem remains.

If the grub septum nomodeset not switch off, but I can not work without a video card working.

How can I understand and solve this problem?

Sorry for my English is not perfect.
